BUILT ON A SOLID
FOUNDATION OF 29 YEARS

The journey of the Rand Group began in 1994 when Rand Asia Sdn. Bhd. was appointed as the Sole Distributor of the Computerized Embroidery Digitizing Software for the Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Singapore and Brunei Market by GMI Srl (Italy). Within the same year, Rand Asia was appointed as the Sole Distributor of the Industrial and Commercial Computerized Embroidery Machine by Aisin Seiki Co. Ltd. (Toyota Group Japan) and Brother Industries Ltd. (Japan) for the Malaysia, Singapore and Brunei Market. 

 

Rand Asia rode on a new phase of growth in 2008 when it was appointed as the Sole Distributor of the aforementioned products by HappyJapan Incorporation (Japan), Wilcom International Pte Ltd (Australia), Ricoma International Corporation (USA) and Tianjin Richpeace Co. Ltd. (China) for the Malaysia and Brunei market. On top of that, the Rand Group has successfully launched its “GMI” branded Original Equipment Manufacturing (“OEM”) Industrial Embroidery Machine to the worldwide market.

Up – to – date, Rand Asia has obtained approximately 68% of the Industrial and Commercial Computerized Embroidery Machine and Software market shares in Malaysia. The presence of renowned international partners, world class products, expertise and support have enabled the Rand Group to develop a solid foundation for expansion moving forward.

Apart from International Trading, the Rand Group has also been actively involved in other portfolio of businesses throughout the years, which include Garment & Textile Manufacturing, Computerised Embroidery Industry Entrepreneurship Development Education, Infrastructure Construction (Specifically in the Oil & Gas and Energy industry) and Real Estate Development.
